About the role

We’re looking for motivated Front of House Officers to join our dynamic Arts and Culture Services team.
You’ll work primarily at Kingston Arts Centre, Kingston City Hall (Moorabbin), and Shirley Burke Theatre (Parkdale).

As a Front of House Officer, you’ll be the face of our facilities, ensuring every guest enjoys a welcoming, polished experience. Your day will be filled with variety: from meticulous venue cleaning and event setup, to ushering guests, running the bar, and delivering top-notch café and in-room catering service

About you

You will have:

  • Customer service experience in hospitality or arts environments, with strong attention to detail.
  • Front-of-house knowledge in performing arts, exhibitions, conferences, or events.
  • Experience in bar or barista service within catering or hospitality.
  • Skills in sales, cash handling, float reconciliation, and EFTPOS use.
  • Excellent communication skills to build relationships with diverse people.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Availability for shifts rostered across a seven-day period a must

 ** Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a group assessment in late July. Successful applicants will join our onboarding and training program starting September 2025.
