About the team:

As part of the Creative Activities team, you’ll help to promote our Arts & Culture offerings across our 3 venues and help shape communications to a vibrant local community. 

About this opportunity:

We are looking for an Arts Development & Marketing Officer to join our team. In this role, you will develop and deliver marketing plans, brand campaigns and audience development activities to showcase the Arts & Culture offerings under the Kingston Arts brand.

 

Other Responsibilities include:                     

  • Plan, develop and manage multiple concurrent creative campaigns
  • Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders across Council departments to leverage marketing opportunities and channels
  • Evaluate and report campaign performance against overarching strategy
  • Create, ideate, and source creative materials for engaging content, in-line with brand identity and audience needs.

What You’ll Bring:

  • An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to adapt to unique challenges and situations.
  • Experience in developing and delivering multiple concurrent promotional projects, targeted to diverse audiences, across a range of digital and traditional channels.
  • Demonstrated skill in creating bespoke, engaging collateral, whilst maintaining brand identity and personality.
  • Team player committed to creating safe and inclusive culture, where individuality and creativity thrive.
  • A degree in Communications, Marketing or Public Relations, or a diploma with relevant work experience. (and 5+ years experience in creative marketing or communications role, preferably in Arts & Culture, events, or entertainment industry.)
