We are seeking a creative communications and marketing professional to join our Advocacy, Communications & Engagement department. Reporting to the Program Leader - Strategic Communications & Engagement, your role is to:

  • Lead the marketing and communications for our AccessCare brand
  • Understand AccessCare’s brand and marketing position and draw on this to develop and implement a marketing strategy that fits with Council’s values and goals
  • Ensure AccessCare appeals as a provider of quality community aged care services
  • Oversee the administration of the AccessCare website and social media channels
  • Analyse data and use customer sentiment and digital trends to inform decisions
  • Plan and lead engagement strategies, giving a voice to the people impacted by decisions.

About you

  • Demonstrated skills in marketing and development of communications strategies
  • Ability to research, write and proof editorial content for major publications, advertising copy, speeches and online technologies.
  • Knowledge of and understanding of online technologies and social media
  • Knowledge and understanding of the concepts of design and printing practices
  • Knowledge and understanding of the economic, political and social issues relating to the Local Government environment
  • Ability to project manage major publications including content, design, printing and distribution
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office, MailChimp
  • Skills in website administration, content planning and digital marketing
  • Excellent communication, relationship building skills, political acumen and sound decision making
