Join our team as a Venue Supervisor!
As a Venue Supervisor at Kingston Leisure Centre, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our aquatic and leisure facilities. You will be responsible for supporting staff on shift, maintaining safe and well-presented facilities, and ensuring high standards of customer service for all patrons.
You'll be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and a positive work culture, fostering an environment where teamwork and communication are key to providing the best experience for our patrons.

About the role
Your responsibilities will include supervising staff and daily operations, maintaining a clean and safe environment, responding to emergencies with confidence and professionalism, and ensuring services are delivered in accordance with centre policies and procedures.
What you'll deliver
Your role includes but is not limited to:
• Supervising staff and supporting the delivery of daily programs and services
• Maintaining clean and safe facilities whilst adhering to health and safety principles
• Monitoring patron activities and ensuring compliance with centre policies and procedures
• Conducting facility inspections and coordinating maintenance and operational activities
• Providing professional and friendly interactions with centre members and guests
• Providing accurate information about centre services
• Communicating centre policies and procedures to patrons
• Completing operational reports and incident documentation
• The incumbent must be available to work outside of normal business hours, including mornings, evenings and weekends
Your Skills and Experience
As a Venue Supervisor you will need to have:
• Experience in a similar role within the aquatic and leisure industry
• A current Pool Lifeguard Award with CPR*
• Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate*
• Employee Working with Children's Check
• Pool Operator's Certificate (desirable) or willingness to obtain
