AccessCare supports older people, people with disabilities, and those with complex needs to live safely and independently at home. Funded by the Commonwealth and Victorian governments, AccessCare provides community care, case management, and support programs across the municipalities of Kingston, Bayside, Glen Eira, Stonnington, Port Phillip and Frankston. About the role

As the Finance Team Leader, you'll play a vital role in leading the finance team and supporting the organisation's financial operations. You'll provide day to day leadership, oversee key financial processes, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, while fostering a collaborative and high performing team environment.

Other Responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership and direction to a team of Financial Accounts Officers and Assistants to ensuing effective processing of accounts payable, receivable, payroll processing functions and the management of Support at Home budgets, statements, and payment reporting.
  • Producing high level complex financial and business development reports to AccessCare’s stake holders including Council and consumers, contributing to service planning, and assisting with AccessCare’s annual budget, forecast and monthly reporting.
  • The provision of financial reporting in accordance with the State and Commonwealth Governments funding body grant agreements and relevant legislation meeting organisation requirements and objectives.

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree or diploma with several years (3-5 years) relevant experience
  • Qualifications or training in commerce, accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Experience in a related field is essential, with experience in a community service environment highly advantageous
