About this opportunity
Are you passionate about solving problems and supporting technology? As an Applications Support Analyst, you’ll work closely with users, IT, and business teams to resolve incidents, deliver training, and optimise application process and performance.
You will also
Design, implement, configure, and maintain technology applications and integrations, ensuring secure and efficient operations.
Oversee application uptime and performance, proactively identifying and addressing areas for improvement.
Act as a key liaison between IT, technical teams, and business stakeholders, diagnosing and resolving escalated issues promptly.
Offer training and support to staff and managers, ensuring applications are fully utilised and user needs are met.
Maintain clear documentation of system configurations, changes, and solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate on projects, assess business needs, and help deliver technology solutions that enhance user experience and align with organisational goals.
Your Skills and Experience
Seeking an Application Support Analyst with a tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT, or a related field and experience supporting business applications. The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in application support, system administration, and maintenance within the Microsoft technology stack (e.g., SQL, PowerShell, APIs).
Familiarity with ERP and enterprise systems (Infor Pathway, TechnologyOne OneCouncil preferred).
Knowledge of project methodologies such as Agile or Prince2.
Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and application deployment.
Exposure to ITILv4 practices (certification desirable).
Experience with local government corporate and service delivery applications.
Proficiency in Microsoft services (SharePoint, Power BI, Power Platform, Dynamics).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to document processes and communicate technical information clearly.
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
