  • Fixed term, full time tenure until December 2026 
  • $98,226 -$107,214 per annum, plus superannuation
  • Locations: Dingley Village Depot and Cheltenham

Join our leadership team as the Administration Coordinator. This role supports the City Works function, including Waste, Asset Care, Building & Civil Maintenance across Councils diverse range of public assets. 

A bit about the role

The Administration Coordinator is tasked with ensuring the delivery high quality customer service to the community. In this role, you will lead a team of administration support staff managing all administrative functions and customer interactions within the City Works Team

What you’ll deliver                          

  • Lead a team of administration officers including performance coaching, training and development to ensure the team is appropriately skilled to provide accurate and timely advice to internal and external customers
  • Establish and monitor systems and processes to facilitate the triaging of customer requests across the department                         
  • Manage call queue performance, team availability and resourcing to support operations

What You’ll Bring

  • Contemporary customer care approach including proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills  
  • Well-developed computer skills, particularly MS Office
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven Negotiation and conflict resolution skills  
  • Experience in multifaceted works teams
