    About the team

    The City Works Administration Team provides essential operational and customer service support to ensure the efficient delivery of municipal services. The team coordinates service requests, manages records and reporting, and acts as a key liaison between the community, field staff, and other departments.

    About the role

    We are looking for an Administration Officer to join our City Works team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support across key, high volume service areas including Civil Maintenance, Building Maintenance, and Waste & Asset Care. You will play a key role in ensuring systems, processes, and data are effectively managed to support high-quality service delivery.

    What you’ll deliver:

    • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the City Works Department
    • Support invoices, purchase orders, and shared inbox management
    • Prepare meeting minutes, agendas, and correspondence
    • Assist in the monitoring, and reporting of administrative systems and data
    • Support the Administration Coordinator to deliver efficient and customer-focused services
    • Process and respond to customer enquiries and complaints relating to Council services and assets

    What You’ll Bring

    • Experience working in an administrative or customer service role.
    • Confidence using a range of computer systems and managing data accurately
    • Ability to organise tasks and follow them through to completion
    • Effective verbal and written communications skills with the ability to communicate to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
