About the role

The Payroll Administration Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of Council's Payroll Service, providing administration support to the Payroll Team.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Responding to/escalating telephone queries
  • Management of the Payroll email account
  • Saving of incoming payroll documentation for processing
  • Transferring payrun documentation to HPE Content Manager
  • Acting as Payroll Officer during periods of leave

Your Skills and Experience

  • Experience in office administration
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Efficient time management and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
