Join Our Team as an Early Years Coordinator!
Our Parkdale Family and Children’s Centre, rated Exceeding against the National Quality Standard, is seeking an experienced and collaborative leader to work alongside the Senior Coordinator in overseeing our large service, ensuring compliance, effective rostering, and smooth daily operations.

This role is ideal for an experienced early childhood leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering high-quality service. You will provide leadership, oversee daily operations, ensure compliance, and engage with both families and the wider community.
Key responsibilities include:
Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with the Senior Coordinator, Educational Leader, and wider team to provide strong, supportive leadership.
Service Delivery: Manage daily operations, including staff rostering and ratios, health management plans, and OHS risk management.
Policies and Procedures: Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including implementing and monitoring policies, procedures, and actively participating in the review and improvement of service policies.
Client and Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with families, community members, and key stakeholders to promote the service and support its ongoing growth and reputation.

Qualifications and Experience
The following qualifications and experience are required for the position:
Kingston Council has zero tolerance for child abuse and adheres to strict Child Protection Reporting Protocols where there is an allegation of abuse from an educator, staff member, volunteer or student. The City of Kingston has a dedicated Child Safety Officer who receives and assesses all allegations of abuse involving an educator, staff member, student or volunteer.
