About the role

Supported by the PMO Lead and a team of Analysts, this leadership opportunity will drive capability uplift across the organisation, whilst overseeing the governance of the entire capital works program (valued at $63M in 2026/27). With an eye for detail and exceptional communications skills this role will ensure regular, detailed and transparent reporting is provided to track our progress in delivering amazing outcomes for our community. 

What you’ll deliver                

  • Continuous improvement of our award winning Project Management Framework 
  • Broadscale uptake of the PMF along with capability growth across the organisation                                                                      
  • Strong governance checks at both project and program level 
  • Lead the development of Councils long term capital program
  • Reporting improvements based on reliable project data  

What You’ll Bring

  • Attention to detail to ensure quality reporting and data integrity 
  • Strong leadership skills to support the team and broader organisation in change management 
  • Sound knowledge of Project Management and reporting within a Government setting
