Join our team as a Civil Maintenance Audit Officer
 

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team at the City of Kingston. In this role, you will:

  • Assess and report on the condition and maintenance quality of Civil Infrastructure assets
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our asset management system
  • Collaborate with the Civil maintenance team to deliver excellent customer service

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in asset management, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Join us in maintaining and improving our city's vital infrastructure.

Other Responsibilities                          

  • Ensure audits are carried out within time constraints.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance situations.                                                                         
  • Provide insights to Supervisors, and Council staff on Road and Drainage maintenance issues within areas of responsibility.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the City Works team to provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct civil infrastructure inspections, record defect and report work using council's software systems

What You’ll Bring

  • Knowledge of civil infrastructure inspection and maintenance practices including industry best practice and techniques.
  • Skills in managing time and planning and organising one’s own work.
  • Valid Victorian driver’s licence with minimum Medium Rigid Truck Endorsement or be willing to obtain
  • Relevant experience in civil infrastructure maintenance
