  • Band 6 $98,266 - $107,217 per annum plus superannuation (pro rata for part time)

A bit about the role

The role involves leadership and oversight of the administration teams and processes, project management and policy reviews

Key Responsibilities Include 

During the contract period, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the administration team with complex enrolments and Child Care Subsidy (CCS) processes, including overseeing utilisation, debt collection, and administrative systems, and leading the 2027 kindergarten (kinder) allocation process.
  • Leading compliance with funding guidelines and CCS requirements across administration teams.
  • Overseeing recruitment activities and working collaboratively with the leadership team to attract and fill vacancies.
  • Playing a key role in the delivery of the annual conference, coordinating a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leading the review of policies, procedures, and guidelines. This includes facilitating the implementation of changes, and monitoring ongoing compliance.
  • Monitoring compliance with State and Commonwealth legislation, regulations, and funding body requirements.
  • Arranging and supporting professional development opportunities, including mentoring, coaching, and on-the-job training as required.
  • Undertaking work on specific projects, activities, issues, and opportunities as delegated by the Team Leader.

Your Skills and Experience

Along with your passionate, caring, and nurturing approach to early childhood education you will have the following:

  • Demonstrated system knowledge and experience across key platforms, including PRODA, NQA ITS, ARRIVAL, KIMS, XAP (or similar CCS software) PageUp, SharePoint, and HPE Content Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of the early childhood sector including regulations and funding
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (0–8) or Diploma of early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
  • Current Employee Working with Children Check or VIT Registration
  • Level 2 First Aid Certification including Asthma, Anaphylaxis and CPR
  • Sound knowledge of Victorian and National Curriculum Frameworks, Regulations, and Quality Standards
