About the team

Within the Aged and Disability department AccessCare, the Community Support team assists people to remain living in their own homes and stay connected to their community with transport to essential services and social activities.

 About the Role

We are seeking a Community Bus driver to join the Community Support Team based at Mentone

  • To transport bus passengers in a safe, enjoyable, and courteous manner meeting all compliance requirements
  • To observe the health and wellbeing of passengers and report any concerns in a confidential, non-judgemental manner
  • Plan and monitor rosters and transport routes to support all scheduled bus activity.
  • Engage with a range of stakeholders external to AccessCare, to support passengers in a range of activities.

What You’ll Bring

You will have:

  • Driver’s License valid in Victoria, with appropriate endorsements required for bus transportation.
  • Driver’s accreditation, minimum requirement Light Rigid licence and willing to obtain commercial Passenger Vehicle Licence (CPV)
  • Working with Children’s Check
  • Police Check
