  • $47.00 per hour plus superannuation 
  • Based across City of Kingston 

This role is part of the Community Hubs team within the Inclusive Communities Department. We are a passionate driven team who love working with the community to meet their needs through the delivery of high-quality programs, activities, and events.

The Community Centre Administration Officer is required to provide high level administrative support to the Community Hubs team, 

Some key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Administration: Provide high level administration support to the Community Hubs, support overall day-to-day operations, monitor email inboxes, and maintain statistics
  • Building Operations: Present the Centre/Hub in an open, inviting, and safe manner, coordinate building maintenance requests
  • Finance: Process purchase orders, weekly banking, venue hire payments, and invoicing

Your Skills and Experience:

  • An ability to connect, engage and build rapport with community
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide timely, relevant, and accurate information and support to internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to use communication technology effectively and efficiently
  • Experience working in a front–facing, community environment is desirable
