As a Lifeguard, part of this community‑focused team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all patrons within our aquatic facilities. You’ll work in a dynamic and supportive environment that values collaboration clear communication, and a positive team culture.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include supervising members and guests, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and responding to emergencies with confidence and professionalism.

What you’ll deliver

Your role includes but is not limited to:                      

  • Maintaining clean and safe pool facilities in line with health and safety standards
  • Actively supervising aquatic areas and patron activities to ensure safety
  • Providing professional and friendly service to members and guests
  • Providing accurate information about centre services
  • Communicating centre policies and procedures clearly to patrons

Your Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A current Pool Lifeguard award (SISSS00133) *
  • A Current Level 2 First Aid certificate (HLTAID011) *
  • A current Employee Working with Children’s Check

*Certificate must be issued by a nationally registered training organisation

Recruitment process: Interviews for this position will be conducted on the following dates

  • Friday 10th July 10:00am – 12.00pm and
  • Wednesday 15th July – 3.30pm – 5.30pm
