Our maternal and child health team have several MCH nurse positions available:
- 1 x permanent full time,
- 1 x temporary full time parental leave position;
- 1 x fixed term (12 month) part time (3 days) position; and
- multiple casual relieving positions.
We are looking for Maternal and Child Health Nurses who enjoy providing a high-quality range of support services to families within the City of Kingston.
The role
The City of Kingston has a cohesive, friendly Maternal and Child Health team providing high quality services to families. We need nurses with sound knowledge base who are committed to working in partnership with families, using a flexible service delivery approach within the team environment. We are looking for nurses who are innovative and actively pursues the goals of ‘Best Practice’. The successful candidates will benefit from Council’s generous staff education and development program.
About Us
The City of Kingston is approximately 20km from Melbourne's CBD. We employ over 1,450 people in a diverse range of roles including engineering, customer service, administration, finance, family, youth and children's services, sport and recreation, health, parks and gardens, planning, arts and management.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be a dedicated and caring professional focused on providing support to the families within the City of Kingston.
You will have the ability to work independently and to provide advice on a broad range of issues relating to MCH Services.
You will hold current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registrations with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as general nurse and midwife and hold a post graduate qualification in Child, Family and Community Nursing.
