  • Location: Bonbeach Depot, Southern End of Scotch Parade

Council’s Open Space Team manages over 400 sites dedicated to preserving biodiversity, including 20 key bushland and foreshore areas. Our Nursery Volunteers play a vital role in propagating plants for revegetation projects and community plant giveaways. We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals eager to learn propagation skills and deepen their knowledge of local flora.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist with plant propagation to support local biodiversity
  • Help prepare plants for giveaways to the community
  • Gain hands-on experience and learn from experts in the field

Available Hours:

  • Weekdays: 9am – 4pm
  • Weekends: 9am – 12pm

Flexible scheduling; volunteer once a week or more, depending on your availability.
