We are seeking an Administration Officer to join the Business Support team working under Compliance and Amenity. 

Reporting to the Administration Coordinator, your role is to:

  • Be an integral part of the Compliance and Amenity Department with the primary function to ensure a customer centric service is provided to all community members and staff within the Organisation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely coordination of information into and out of the department, as the position works with employees at all levels across Council.
  • Provide administrative support to the department as a whole, including the word processing, filing and maintenance of records, processing registrations and renewals, issuing of permits, bookings and distribution of correspondence to the department
  • Input accurate records of customer service requests electronically using Council database system (currently Pathway) – this includes the allocation of requests to areas and in urgent/emergency cases, direct to an area Officer for immediate action
  • Maintain accurate electronic records using Council’s records management system (currently HPE Content Manager)

Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone with:

  • Background or qualification in administration
  • Experience using a customer relation management system, use of Pathway and Content Management would be desirable
  • Have excellent communication and time management skills
