A bit about the role

Play a key role in shaping Kingston’s future by managing the interface between Council and major State Government projects, including Level Crossing Removals, the Suburban Rail Loop, and other major transport and infrastructure works.

You’ll coordinate Council’s involvement, ensuring projects deliver the best outcomes for our community while protecting local interests and assets.

Other Responsibilities include

  • Build effective working relationships with State Government authorities and project teams
  • Coordinate Council’s input into project design, planning, and construction
  • Ensure Council’s assets and interests are considered in all project phases
  • Support reporting, documentation, and financial tracking using Council’s project management framework
  • Liaise with community groups, contractors, and stakeholders to support positive outcomes

What You’ll Bring

  • Sound background in managing or coordinating large-scale infrastructure or transport projects
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Sound understanding of project management principles and reporting processes
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in complex environments
  • Relevant degree qualification with several years of related experience
