About the role

We are seeking for a Team Leader HR Services to join our People & Culture team. In this role, you will drive the operational delivery of high‑quality HR services across Council, providing expert employee and industrial relations advice, partnering with leaders to build capability, and driving continuous improvement across HR systems, processes and workforce insights.

Other Responsibilities include                 

  • Providing and coordinating, accurate and consistent HR advice to leaders and employees across the organisation.
  • Supporting the Employee Relations Lead and HR Business Partners with end‑to‑end case management of employee relations matters, including performance management, misconduct, grievances, investigations and health‑related matters.
  • Providing direction and support to the HR Operations Lead, ensuring compliant and effective use of HR systems and processes.
  • Supporting the organisation with day to day recruitment processes, ensuring consistency, efficiency and best practice.

  • Proven experience coordinating, coaching and developing teams of HR professionals to deliver clear, consistent and high‑quality advice.
  • Solid stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach to problem solving.
  • Tertiary qualifications in human resource management or related discipline and/or proven experience in a similar position.
