The Arts, Events and Libraries Department at the City of Kingston is focused on the delivery of industry leading contemporary programs, activities, and events. The City of Kingston Library Service operates eight public library branches, with major sites at Chelsea, Cheltenham, Parkdale and Westall, and minor sites at Clarinda, Dingley Village, Highett, and Patterson Lakes.
The role
We are seeking a permanent part-time Children and Youth Services Librarian to join the team, with fixed Monday, Tuesday and Friday shifts. This includes a fortnightly evening shift on Monday, and additional required rotating weekend work.
This role is required to work with children, youth and young adults in a program delivery capacity. The role requires the successful candidate to be effective in communicating and connecting with a diverse audience of all ages. Your, predominate working locations are Parkdale, Clarinda and Westall, with requirements to work across all sites. Reporting to the Children & Youth Services Coordinator, your role is to:

The salary for this position starts at $81,188 pro-rata (Band 5) per annum plus superannuation.
