Join our team as a Commercial Performance Coordinator

We are a dynamic and collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional commercial outcomes and striving for continuous improvement to optimise commercial outcomes for the City of Kingston.

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Performance Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will lead and support initiatives that enhance commercial performance, ensure integrity and compliance, and drive value for our community.

What you’ll deliver       

  • Develop and monitor commercial performance metrics and reporting frameworks
  • Support procurement and contract management processes to ensure best practice
  • Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, efficiency and cost savings across operations
  • Prepare and present reports on compliance, performance, and strategic insights
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver strategic commercial projects
  • Deliver training and support to internal stakeholders

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong knowledge of procurement, contract management, and commercial principles
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and proficiency with business systems
  • Excellent analytical, data interpretation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, or equivalent experience
  • Desirable: Experience in local government or public sector environment
