About the team

AccessCare provides community care that supports older people, people with disabilities, and those with complex needs or at risk of homelessness, helping them to live safely and independently at home. Funded by the Commonwealth and Victorian governments, we deliver services across Kingston, Bayside, Glen Eira, Stonnington, and Port Phillip.

About this opportunity:

We’re looking for caring and motivated Client Services Officers to join our friendly AccessCare team. This role is all about connection, coordination, and care. You’ll manage daily rosters and service coordination to ensure participants receive reliable, high-quality support that helps them stay independent and engaged in their community.

Working closely with Care Partners, Team Support Officers, and Support Workers, you’ll be part of a welcoming team environment that values respect, teamwork, and open communication. The role includes frequent phone contact with participants, staff, and service partners, so exceptional communication and customer service skills are key to success.

Other Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and maintain efficient rosters that meet participant needs and make the best use of team resources
  • Provide clear, friendly support to staff and volunteers
  • Respond to participant and staff enquiries with empathy and professionalism
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure information is always up to date
  • Support the induction and training of new team members
  • Contribute to team meetings and service improvement activities
  • Manage complex enquiries or complaints, escalating as needed to ensure timely support

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in rostering, scheduling, or coordination within a customer service or team-based environment
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills, particularly over the phone.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities to manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach to work in an outcome-focused environment
  • Post-secondary qualification or relevant experience in customer service, administration, or community services
  • Understanding of or experience in the community services sector (desirable)
