The City of Kingston has three Family and Children's Centres located in Carrum, Edithvale and Parkdale. 

Our Parkdale Family and Children's Centre is rated Exceeding the National Quality Standard, and we are on the hunt for an enthusiastic Kindergarten teacher to join us in our journey to provide exceptional Education and Care to children in the Kingston Community. 

 

We have the following position available:

1 x Kindergarten teacher 9 day fortnight 
Contact hours Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 
Non-contact Thursday and every second Friday

This is a 12-month contract.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be passionate, caring and nurturing
  • Contribute positively to the team culture.
  • Understand the expectations of the Victorian and National Curriculum Frameworks, National Quality Standards and the current Regulations.
  • Build positive and respectful relationships with children and their families.
  • Have a strong passion for early childhood education
  • Minimum qualification: Bachelor of Early Childhood (0-8), working towards a Bachelor would be considered or extensive experience leading teams in early childhood.
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Level 2 First Aid Certificate including: Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management and CPR Certificate
