Come and join our supportive and highly motivated team of MCH Nurses with

City of Kingston.

 

We are seeking one fixed term contract (parental leave cover), full time and a number of casual Maternal and Child Health Nurses who enjoy providing a high-quality range of support services to families within the City of Kingston.

 

The role

The City of Kingston has a cohesive, friendly Maternal and Child Health team providing high quality services to families. We need nurses with a good knowledge bases who are committed to working in partnership with families using a flexible service delivery approach within the team environment. We are looking for nurses who actively pursues the goals of ‘Best Practice’. The successful candidates will benefit from Council’s generous staff education and development program.

About you

 To be successful in these roles, you will need a dedicated and caring professional focus on providing support to the families within the City of Kingston.

You will have the ability to work independently and to provide advice and support on a broad range of issues relating to MCH Services.

You will hold current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registrations with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as general nurse and midwife and hold a post graduate qualification in Child, Family and Community Nursing.

  • Valid Victorian Driver’s licence and own vehicle
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Willingness to undergo a national police check

 

What we can offer

We have one temporary full-time parental leave position available, salary range $116,570 - $119, 585 per annum plus superannuation.  And we have a number of casual positions, hourly rate range $58.99 - $60.51 per hour plus superannuation, where we require a commitment of a minimum 4 to 6 shifts per month as an average.
