Join the City of Kingston as the Team Leader Asset Management  

The Infrastructure Department delivers engineering services and compliance with emergency management.  In this department the asset management team is responsible for collecting and categorising all organisational assets, leading condition audit and renewal strategies, and enhancing organisational asset management.

About this opportunity

We are looking for a talented leader to join our team. In this role, you will lead an experienced team of asset management professionals and be highly engaged in lifting organisational capability in asset management. Your team members and stakeholders across the organisation will be critical to achieving your goals.

Responsibilities include                        

  • Leadership of a skilled technical team
  • Support the implementation of a new Enterprise Asset Management system
  • Continuous improvement of asset management practices
  • Improve organisational asset management capability
  • Develop asset renewal strategies to strengthen long-term financial planning

Your skills and experience

  • Demonstrated experience leading a team, preferably in a technical environment
  • Ability to address and explain complex issues to asset and service owners
  • Experience in asset management is advantageous but not essential
  • Relevant degree qualification or extensive and diverse experience in a related field
