About the team
Kingston Libraries is part of the Arts, Events & Libraries department in the City of Kingston. The library service spans 80+ staff, 8 branches, 376 hours of weekly service delivery, a million annual loans, over 2,000 programs/events and 400,000 visitors annually.
Kingston Libraries operates eight public library branches, with major sites at Chelsea, Cheltenham, and Parkdale, and minor sites at Clarinda, Dingley Village, Highett, Patterson Lakes and Westall.
About the role
Council is seeking a positive and motivated part-time library officer to join the Kingston Libraries team. Working 28hrs per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with rostered weekend work in addition to this. This role is based in the Parkdale team and works at Parkdale, Clarinda and Westall libraries, plus other sites as required. Times and locations may alter according to service needs.
