About the Role 

We’re seeking a Pedagogy and Practice Leader to strengthen pedagogical practice across our 0–5 programs. You will lead curriculum design, build educator capability, and drive service wide quality and improvement initiatives. The role works collaboratively across teams and with external partners to support high‑quality, inclusive early learning. 

What You’ll Deliver 

  • Coaching and mentoring to strengthen educator and teacher practice 

  • Design and implementation of learning programs for 0–2 and 3–5 years 

  • Collaboration on QIP, SRF, VIA/ISS, KIS and grant processes 

  • Facilitation of professional learning and reflective practice 

  • Strategic planning, documentation and reporting to support quality and compliance 

Your Skills and Experience 

  • Pedagogical leadership: Ability to mentor, coach and build educator capability 

  • Curriculum expertise: Strong knowledge of early years frameworks and program design for 0–5 years 

  • Stakeholder collaboration: Skills in consulting and working with internal teams, families and external agencies 

  • Professional learning facilitation: Ability to lead reflective practice, team discussions and capability building sessions 

  • Compliance and documentation: Knowledge of NQF, Child Safe Standards and ability to produce clear reports and records 

Desirable 

  • Experience leading reflective practice and capability building 

  • Previous Educational Leader or equivalent pedagogical leadership experience 

  • Experience building partnerships with families and community organisations 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood 

  • Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting (HLTAID004) or equivalent 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting the planning, implementation and evaluation of learning environments based on contemporary early childhood theories and pedagogies 

  • Protecting Children Mandatory Reporting Training
