About the team

AccessCare provides community care that supports older people, people with disabilities, and those with complex needs or at risk of homelessness, helping them to live safely and independently at home. Funded by the Commonwealth and Victorian governments, we deliver services across Kingston, Bayside, Glen Eira, Stonnington, and Port Phillip.

A bit about the role

We are seeking a motivated and organised professional to join our team as an Administration Officer supporting the Team Leader Community Support. This role plays an important part in ensuring the smooth operation of our volunteer programs, including Delivered Meals, Social Engagement and Volunteer Transport, which are vital in connecting our clients with the support they need.

What you’ll deliver                         

  • Act as the first point of contact for prospective volunteers and provide clear, helpful information
  • Monitor and maintain compliance requirements for our valued volunteers
  • Support volunteer recruitment, training, and development activities
  • Manage records and data entry through the Carelink+ system
  • Assist in coordinating meetings, communication, and engagement initiatives for volunteers
  • Respond to volunteer queries and ensure they feel supported and informed. 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Proven administrative experience, including strong computer literacy and attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional approach 
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and maintain accurate records
  • Previous experience working with volunteers or supporting community programs (desirable) 
  • A genuine passion for improving the lives of others in the community
