Join our team as an Inclusive Communities Administration Officer

Be a vital part of a passionate team dedicated to fostering community inclusion and wellbeing.

The Inclusive Communities Department provides a wide range of strategy, programs, events and training to the community. Reporting to the Manager Inclusive Communities, this position provides administrative support to the Department.

About the role

As an Administration Officer, you will provide high-quality administrative support across the Department, helping to coordinate day-to-day operations, manage documentation, and ensure clear and timely communication.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a team that supports community inclusion and wellbeing. You’ll work closely with staff across the Department and with community members, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and with a strong customer focus.

We’re looking for an experienced and organised administration professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, can manage multiple priorities, and takes pride in delivering work to a high standard.

Other Responsibilities include:             

  • Provide responsive administrative and customer service support across the Inclusive Communities Department.
  • Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, minute taking, and follow-up actions.
  • Prepare and collate reports, correspondence, newsletters and promotional materials under guidance from senior staff.
  • Support administration of contractors, facilitators, and volunteers, including documentation and payments
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Sound administration and customer service skills to deliver quality support
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to provide timely, relevant, and accurate information and support to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Demonstrated ability to use communication technology effectively and efficiently
