About the role

As Senior Building Operations Officer you will lead a small team in monitoring compliance, safety and condition of buildings and assets, in addition to various building service contracts. 

The key responsibilities of the role include auditing, reporting and communications building condition audit results.  You will also work with the team to coordinate corrective actions. 

Other Responsibilities include                       

  • Lead auditing program and schedules 
  • Assist in assessing, evaluating and recording of building assets                                                                         
  • Ensure contracts are managed in accordance with contractual agreements, customer standards, timeframes and approved budgets
  • Report on performance of contracts

What You’ll Bring

  • Relevant auditing experience 
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to provide sound technical advice on building condition audits
  • Strong communications skills with internal stakeholders, contractors and community member
